‘On behalf of all the Directors, Senior Manager and myself I would like to say a big thank you to you and your team.’
Oldham Community LeisureThe OPQ32 test gives an indication of how an individual perceives their behavioural style at work. It also indicates their likely performance against important job competencies.
It can give useful information on how individuals might fit within certain work environments and teams, and how they would cope with different job requirements. This is obviously useful for recruitment, however OPQ32 can also be used for career counselling, development, succession planning and organisational change.
There are two different versions of OPQ32, dependent on whether the test is being used for recruitment or development. OPQn has a normative format whereby candidates indicate the extent to which they agree or disagree with a set of statements. This straightforward version is useful for training, development and counselling as well as selection.
OPQ32 has an ipsative format, whereby candidates indicate which of four statements is most and least like them. This approach is helpful in measuring relative preferences and reducing bias in selection situations.
